A happy new year to all, and I hope that 2006 brings you much happiness and prosperity. For me, 2006 is going to be a very busy year, what with my flying test in January, EclipseCon in March, and then moving in April/May. I've also made a few new year's resolutions:
Lose weight. Seriously, it's starting to become a problem, especially when flying. My plan is to break below the 135kg barrier by the end of the year (down from 145kg now). If I put it here, then I can't deny it later on in the year :-)
Write a (technical) book. I've had an Eclipse RCP book on the back-burner for some time, and it's only really been the lack of a deadline (or signed contract!) that's stopped me from making progress with this. By the end of this year, I'll have a book that (almost certainly) will be available for PDF download. I'll also be making chapters available for review throughout the year, so if you'd like to be involved, drop me a mail to my Gmail address.
Spend more time with my family. They don't see much of me as it is, so I need to make sure that weekends are reserved for them.
Of course, I don't know where I'm going to find time for all this; so I guess that a last point would be to become more focussed when it comes to organisation. Perhaps it's time to cancel my Sky subscription...
