Neil Bartlett and myself will be giving a talk on OSGi and JSR 291 at the Java Special Interest Group in a couple of weeks time on Feb 15th at Sun Microsystems on London Bridge. I’ve been to a few JSigs in the past, so it will be interesting to be on the other side of the lectern.
The site is a bit light on details, but essentially it will be a condensed variation of the tutorial we proposed for EclipseCon 2007. Hopefully we won’t get bogged down in the JSR 277 versus 291 debate, but instead talk about what kinds of thing you can achieve with a dynamic system based on OSGi, and why you’d want to do that.
Registration/attendance is free, but you’ll need to sign up via JSig to get on the list.
