Milton Keynes is a great place to live, and has a sense of humour with it as well. The slogan for the 40th party celebrations is "Milton Keynes: Roundabout 40". As everyone knows, Milton Keynes is known for its roundabouts as much as its concrete cows. So, we had the 40th celebrations in a somewhat rain-soaked weekend. Also, the humble cash machine is 40 years old this year, too. I guess that puts into perspective how new Milton Keynes really is. Still, we like it here ...
